1983

Transway Int. Sped. GmbH was founded in August 1983 by the entrepreneur Josef F. Pfefferle with a small, highly motivated team. From the beginning, the focus was on acquiring know-how, so that Transway Int. Sped. GmbH was quickly able to make a name for itself, especially in the pharmaceutical sector, which we still serve successfully today. Since then, we have constantly expanded our competences and are active for almost all economic sectors.

As one of the first sea freight forwarders in the hinterland, Transway Int. Sped. GmbH has created an online data connection to the German seaports, so that we can act as a fully comprehensive sea freight forwarder without losing the proximity to our customers.

1997

In 1997, Transway Airfreight was founded as an independent limited company, which has been enormously successful on the international market to this day and is growing steadily.

The logical conclusion from the existence of the two sister companies was the foundation of Transway Holding GmbH.

2010

In 2010, the Transway Group recognised the signs of the times and opened up the internet with the "electronic salesperson" in the market segment of freight forwarders. Since then, the internet presence and the digital connection to our customers have been continuously developed.

One of the most important milestones was the certification as an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO). The associated measures and customs regulations enable us to offer our customers maximum security for their goods.

2018

The biggest milestone for Transway Int. Sped. GmbH was the construction and occupation of our own company building in 2018. This allowed us to realise ourselves with our team on over 200m² and enjoy the modern premises.

2021

A new era is dawning for Transway int. Sped. GmbH in 2021. With the implementation of an online transport platform, we can optimise almost all work processes and save our customers time and therefore money.
